Gerddi Glan Dyfi Is a 1.5 acre market garden based just outside of Penegoes at Glan Dyfi farm, owned by Geraint and Gwynant Morgan. The market garden was set up by Paul Bullen and Suzanne Gallant in 2020 as Free Range Foods and then taken on by Roz Corbett in February 2025. Gerddi Glan Dyfi produces a range of vegetables using agroecological farming practices including min-till, an inclusive approach to pests and weeds, green manures for fertility building and more. Roz is a grower originally from an even rainier valley of Cumbria and has had 7 years of experience growing in Scotland, so is delighted to be growing somewhere a bit warmer and drier! She is also a Coordinating Group member of the Landworkers Alliance and works part-time for Tir Canol supporting other farms in the Dyfi and Rheidol valleys to diversify into horticulture. Gerddi Glan Dyfi also employs two part-time growers, and we are exploring transitioning to a workers' cooperative in 2026.
